<br />Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-275 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR <br />“GILE ADDITION” <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Debra Gile properly applied for Sketch Plan and Preliminary Plat <br />approval of the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />rd <br />Lot 7, Block 3, Apple Ridge, together with Outlot C, Wildlife Sanctuary 3 Addition, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the ‘Subject Property’); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Subject Property is zoned R-1 MUSA-80 and guided for low density <br />residential in the 2040 Comprehensive Plan, and the proposal aligns with the zoning and guidance; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on December 1, 2022, and <br />recommended approval of the Sketch Plan and Preliminary Plat; and <br /> <br />WHERAS, the proposed parcels meet the area and width requirements of the R-1 MUSA- <br />80 zoning district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed Lot 1 will not have direct street frontage necessitating an <br />assessment agreement for when Krypton Street NW is constructed; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval of “Gile Addition” <br />in accordance with relevant City Codes, subject to the following conditions: <br />A. Park dedication and trail development fee are required on Lot 2 at the rates in effect at <br />the time of final plat approval. <br />B. Final approval by City Engineer and City Attorney. <br />C. The applicant must sign an assessment agreement covering half of the costs associated <br />with the Krypton Street connection, sidewalk, and sanitary sewer and water utility <br />extensions. <br />D. Proof of acceptance of the outlots by the adjacent property owners, otherwise those <br />parcels must be incorporated into Lot 1. <br />E. Removal of structures and items from the Krypton Street right-of-way. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
