Come Work With Us! • The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: • Police Officers (2 Openings). The primary objective of these positions is to perform responsible police work involving the protection and safety of the community through prevention and control of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, investigating crime, regulating traffic, enforcing laws and providing emergency services, as well as other related duties as required. These are full-time LELS-Patrol union positions. The 2023 hiring wage is $32.460 per hour. The application deadline is open until filled Apply immediately if interested • Engineering Technician II. This position will assist in applying principles, methods and techniques of civil engineering technology and will perform support engineering work, including construction inspection and materials testing, land surveying, plan review, and public service duties related to public works. This position will also perform routine and entry-level technical engineering work to support the construction of sewer, stormwater, street, and water systems and other public works projects and programs. This position may also assist with snow plowing and general maintenance of public roads, parks, right-of- ways, sewer and water systems, parking lots and other municipal facilities and/or equipment. This is a full-time AFSCME union position working forty (40) hours per week. The 2023 hiring wage is $29.007 to $31.908 per hour, depending on qualifications. Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: • Yoga o There is still time to register for yoga! An evening and midday session are being offered. Check the Parks and Recreation Events website for the classes' dates, times, and locations. • Line Dancing o Join us on January 10 and 24 for line dancing at Central Park from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. A new line dance will be taught in every class. • Cardinal Watercolor Painting o Are you looking for an indoor activity? Sign up for our Cardinal Watercolor Painting class on Tuesday, January 17, from 5:30 — 7:30 pm at Elmcrest Park. This class is well suited to any individual who wants to try out painting for the first time or individuals who wish to expand their knowledge of watercolor painting.
