CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number I, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Patrick Tmdgeon <br />Police Chief James Way~ <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the meeting to order at 7:'00 p.m. and called upon Councilmember Elvig to <br />lead in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />White Bear Lake High School Student Matt Christianson introduced himself and stated he is here <br />tonight for his American Government Class. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />John Enstrom, resident, suggested the Council consider utilizing chips from the trees destroyed <br />in the recent storms to make a wood chip pathway to mn along Trottbrook or some other <br />environmentally friendly areas. These walkways could be used for things like nature walks and <br />cross country skiing. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec indicated Mr. Enstrom's idea will be forwarded to the Park Department. <br /> <br />City Council / December 13, 2005 <br /> Page 3 of 37 <br /> -29- <br /> <br /> <br />
