CONSIDER APPOINTMENT TO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />PC# A <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />In late 2005, Commissioner Eric Watson notified the City that he would not seek reappointment <br />to the Planning Commission. Interviews were conducted by the Personnel Committee on <br />December 22, 2005 with four applicants. The Chair and Vice Chair of the Planning Commission <br />were not able to attend the interviews. <br /> <br />As you will recall, four residents were interviewed for one vacancy: Olorya Kackman, Merlin <br />Hunt, Amber Erickson and Teresa Cleveland. Mr. Dave Hart had expressed an interest in being <br />interviewed for the vacancy, however, staff had been unable to connect with Mr. Hart. Based on <br />December 22"d interviews, the current ranking is as follows: <br /> <br />1. Teresa Cleveland <br />2. Merlin Hunt <br />3. Amber Erickson <br />4. Glorya Kackman <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Make a motion recommending the appointment of one of the above-listed residents to a seat on <br />the Planning Commission.
