City Engineer Jankowski stated that he is not aware of any flooding problems on Dysprosium <br />Street and would like to know what segment of Dysprosium Street the residents are referring to <br />and under what conditions. <br /> <br />Valerie Haller, 14111 Dysprosium Street, Ramsey, explained that the flooding on Dysprosium <br />Street happens after a heavy thunderstorm. <br /> <br />Jennifer Eckberg, 142na Avenue NW, Ramsey, questioned what is going to happen with the <br />intersection of 142"d Avenue and T.H. #47. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski explained that the City has proposed to construct a median at the <br />intersection that would allow for left tums from T.H. #47 onto 142nd Avenue but no left tums <br />from 142"d Avenue onto T.H. #47. <br /> <br />Jennifer Eckberg, 142na Avenue NW, Ramsey stated that cars speed-up Argon to get to 142nd <br />Avenue and that the City is not solving any problems by adding more people to area. She feels <br />that the area should be left the way it is and leave the wetlands the way they are. She objects to <br />the development all together. Opening up Barium Street increases more traffic into that area <br />which is where her daycare is located which makes an unsafe environment for her children. <br /> <br />Lori Byers, 14010 Dysprosium Street, Ramsey, inquired if the development will increase or <br />decrease the value of their homes. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that the county assessor's office indicates <br />that records reflect that townhomes do not affect single family home values. <br /> <br />Ms. Byers inquired if residents are required to obtain a permit to construct a fence on their <br />property. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson replied no. <br /> <br />Ms. Byers inquired if the homes that have backyards on C.R. # 116 will lose a portion of their <br />yard when C.R. # 116 is improved. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that more pavement will be added, but the existing right-of-way <br />will accommodate the improvements. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson questioned how the residents along Argon Street feel about the proposed <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />Randy Baccus, 14148 Argon Street, Ramsey, replied that he is happy with the proposed cul-de- <br />sac, but thinks the problems along Dysprosium still need to be addressed.
