Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-11-390 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0747 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM B-1 BUSINESS AND PUBLIC/QUASI-PUBLIC TO PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AND R-1 RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC/QUASI-PUBLIC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application from GM Land Development to rezone <br />certain property in accordance with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) and 9.20.31 (Planned <br />Unit Development) of the Ramsey City Code; and <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That GM Land Development, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to <br />rezone certain property from B-1 Business and Public/Quasi-Public to Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD), and R-1 Residential to Public/Quasi-Public. <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public heating pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on November 3, 2005, and said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the North Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as Beginning at the Southeast <br />comer of said North Half of the Southeast Quarter; thence North along the East <br />line of thereof for a distance of 174.80 feet; thence West parallel with the South <br />line of said North Half of the Southeast Quarter for a distance of 1296.32 feet to <br />intersect the centerline of County State Aid Highway No. 5; thence Southeasterly <br />along said centerline to intersect the South line of said North Half of the Southeast <br />Quarter; thence east along said south line for a distance of 1195.97 feet to the point <br />of beginning. <br /> <br />Together with: <br /> <br />All that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as lying East of a <br />line to be hereafter known as "Line B" for the purposes of this description, and <br />lying North of a line to be hereafter known as "Line A" for the purposes of this <br />description, said Line A being described as Commencing at the Northeast comer of <br />said Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; thence North 89 degrees 52 <br />minutes West, assumed basis of bearings, along the North line thereof for a <br />distance of 1100.52 feet; thence South 29 degrees 14 minutes East for a distance of <br /> <br /> <br />
