Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #05-10-346 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING BANKING SERVICES TO VILLAGE BANK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Council Finance Committee meeting on September 13, 2005, <br /> approved a recommendation to solicit bids for banking services from the three local banking <br /> institutions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the bids were solicited and opened on October 3, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal received from Village Bank provides the best benefit and <br /> highest level of service to the City. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Finance Officer be directed to establish the banking relationship as outlined in the <br /> proposal for banking services with Village Bank effective November I, 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
