<br />Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-029 <br /> <br />ST <br />RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON 161AVENUE BETWEEN <br />ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD AND VARIOLITE STREET FOR IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECT 23-01, STATE AID PROJECT NO. 199-123-001. <br /> <br />st <br /> WHEREAS, City Improvement Project No. 23-01 proposes to improve 161 Avenue <br />between Armstrong Boulevard and Variolite Street located within the City of Ramsey, Minnesota; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed street improvements does not provide an adequate width for <br />st <br />parking on both sides of 161 Avenue, and approval of the proposed reconstruction as Municipal <br />State Aid Street must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey shall prohibit parking of motor vehicles at all times on both sides <br />st <br />of 161 Avenue between Armstrong Boulevard and Variolite Street, located within the <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />
