Weekly Update — February 10, 2023 <br />2023 Ramsey Business Expo: Mark your calendar! Spring is right around the corner, meaning <br />the EDA Business Expo is back. The Expo will take place on Saturday, April 29 from 10 am-2 <br />pm at Adrenaline Sports Center in Ramsey. Vendor registration is now open. Booths are $50 for <br />Ramsey businesses. Attached to the Weekly Update is the <br />2023 Ramsey Business Expo flyer. <br />Come Work with Us! <br />The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: <br />• Police Officer (1 Opening). The primary objective of this position is to perform <br />responsible police work involving the protection and safety of the community through <br />prevention and control of crime, maintaining or restoring public order, investigating <br />crime, regulating traffic, enforcing laws and providing emergency services, as well as <br />other related duties as required. This is a full-time LELS-Patrol union position. The 2023 <br />hiring wage is $32.460 per hour. Snow piled <br />close to hydrants restricts operation during a fire <br />emergency. After a snowfall, the Public Works <br />Department is responsible for clearing snow from City <br />streets. Depending on the amount and type of snow, this <br />could take several days. The City is requesting your help <br />in keeping our fire hydrants accessible. Please clear a <br />four -foot circle around the hydrant near your home to <br />ensure easy access for our Fire Department.
