A resident stated that he didn't realize the meeting is in April. He felt his taxes were inequitable in <br /> comparison to other equal or higher priced houses. <br /> <br /> City Administrator Norman suggested the resident come to the Local Board of Review in April to ask <br /> about it. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Strommen added that representatives from the Assessor's Office will be at the meeting <br /> in April to explain his market value. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Cook stated he purchased a house for $87,000 in 1990. It was just assessed at <br /> $260,000. He stated his salary hasn't increased the same as his market value. He likened it to having a <br /> pay decrease. He stated that everybody is in the same situation. <br /> <br /> There being no further comments, Mayor Gamec thanked everyone for attending. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br /> Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to adjourn the meeting at 7:52 <br /> p.m. <br /> <br /> Motion carried.
