Public Safety Board Member Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: PSB RESOLUTION #06-01-001 RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE CONTRIBUTION CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW 800 MHz RADIO TOWER OF LgaND FOR WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Public Safety Board met on January 12, 2006, and received a proposal of construction of a new 800 MHz radio tower for the purpose of enhanced radio coverage for public safety; and WHEREAS, the contribution of land consists of an 80' x 80' piece of property on the northeast comer of the current City Hall campus; and WHEREAS, the Public Safety Board sees this as a very important safety issue for First Responders in the City of Ramsey; and WHEREAS, the Public Safety Board is requesting support from the Ramsey Planning Commission and the Ramsey City Council with regard to this project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD OF THE CITY OF'RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF NHNNESOTA, as follows: l) That the Public Safety Board supports the contribution of land for the purpose of the 800 MHz radio tower construction. 2) That the Public Safety Board believes this is an important safety issue for First Responders for the City of Kamsey. 3) ' That the Public Safety Board requests the support of tiffs project from the Ramsey Plarafing Commission and the Rarnsey City Council. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Public Safety Board Member Lewandowski and agreed upon by all members of the Public Safety Board.
