Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-11-376 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT TO LANDWEHR <br /> CONSTRUCTION FOR I.P. #05-29 TIt 47 UNDERPASS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br /> specifications for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council approved the plans and specifications and the <br /> advertisement for bids for the above referenced work; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for T.H. #47 Pedestrian Underpass, <br /> bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on July 26, 2005; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br /> recommends partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $166,546.40. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br /> recommends 2nd partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $154,883.25. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and <br /> recommends 3rd partial payment to Landwehr Construction the amount of $6,135.10. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Landwehr for Improvement <br /> Project #05-29 in the amount of $6,135.10. <br /> <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City <br /> Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br /> bills for the date of November 22, 2005. <br /> <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-11-376 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
