Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-11-375 RESOLUTION APPROVING 2NI) PARTIAL PAYMENT TO GLENN REItBEIN EXCAVATING FOR I.P. #04-27 MPCA STORM SEWER REROUTING WHEREAS, on July 12, 2005, the Ramsey City Council authorized plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on July 22, 2005, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for IP #04- 27 to Glenn Rehbein Excavating in the amount of $44,214.00; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Excavating in the amount of $35,661.10. WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Excavating in the amount of $3,437.35. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Glenn Rehbein Excavating for Improvement Project #04-27 in the amount of $3,437.35. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of November 22, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
