Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #23-027 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY <br />EASEMENTS IN HY-10 RAMSEY <br />RECITALS <br />1. The City of Ramsey received an application from Anoka -Ramsey Athletic Association (the <br />"Property Owner"), requesting a vacation of drainage and utility easements (the "Easements") <br />on the properties generally known as 14622 and 14650 Ferret Street Northwest and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lotl, Block 1, HY-10 Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, subject to easements of <br />record; and <br />Lot 2, Block 1, HY-10 Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota, together with that part of <br />the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 29, Township 32, Range 25, <br />lying Northeasterly of the Northeasterly right-of-way line of the Burlington -Northern <br />Railroad, subject to easements of record <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />2. That the Property Owner appeared before the City Council for a public hearing pursuant to <br />Section 117-56 (Easement Vacation) of the Ramsey City Code and Section 12.6 of the City <br />Charter on February 14, 2023, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that <br />the minutes of said public hearing are available. <br />3. That the City Council reviewed and approved the plat of ARAA SUBDIVISION on February <br />14, 2023. <br />4. That the replatting of these parcels into a new parcel with adjusted lot lines necessitate <br />reestablishing drainage and utility easements. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. That the easement vacation will not violate the intent and purpose of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />2. That the easement vacation is necessary to accomplish the Property Owner's intended purpose. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />
