Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-12-401 RESOLUTION APPROVING 4TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER INC. FOR I.P. #04-31 WATERMAIN EXTENSION TO WELL NO 6 WHEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-08- 209 authorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on September 13, 2004, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for IP #04-31 to WB Miller Inc. in the amount of $85,942.50. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 1 st partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $16,650.65. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 2na partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $23,629.35. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 3ra partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $20,155.20. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 4th partial payment to W.B. Miller in the amount of $21,964.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to WB Miller Inc. for Improvement Project #04-31 in the amount of $21,964.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of December 13, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
