Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-12-399 RESOLUTION APPROVING 2sD FINAL PAYMENT TO STRUCTURAL BUILDINGS FOR THE RE-SIDING OF THE METAL STRUCTURE AT THE PUBLIC WORKS CAMPUS WHEREAS, On December 14, 2004 the City Council passed Resolution 04-12-375 authorizing the solicitation of bids for re-siding the existing metal building at the Public Works campus. WHEREAS, on April 26, 2005 the Ramsey City Council passed resolution #05-04-11.3 awarding the contract for the re-siding of the metal structure at the Public Works campus to Structural Buildings in the amount of $163,979.00; and WHEREAS, Street Supervisor, Grant Riemer has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Structural Buildings in the amount of $46,000.00. WHEREAS, Street Supervisor, Grant Riemer has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to Structural Buildings in the amount of $117,979.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Structural Buildings for Re- siding of metal structure in the amount of $117,979.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of December 13, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
