<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #23-045 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE MUNICIPAL CENTER CONFERENCE ROOM <br />RENTAL POLICY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed updates to the Municipal Center Conference <br />Room Renal Policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that a streamlined policy with a simplified fee structure is <br />beneficial to City operations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an updated Policy was drafted to apply specifically to the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, excluding Parks rental; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the updated Policy includes fees charged for room rental based on an hourly <br />fee schedule rather than flat fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new Fees will be effective March 1, 2023 for any 2023 reservations <br />already scheduled and paid for through March 31, 2023 and all other reservations will incur the <br />newly updated rates, effective April 1, 2023. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #23-045 to approve the new Municipal Center Conference <br />Room Rental Policy. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor Riley <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Olson <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
