CASE # 1 <br />Review of Wetland Buffer Ordinance Case Presentation to City Council <br />By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator <br />Background: <br />Staff presented the wetland buffer ordinance to the City Council during their July 26, 2005 <br />meeting. After hearing several concerns from residents with regard to the proposed ordinance, <br />Council tabled the matter. Staff was directed to place the proposed ordinance on another work <br />session agenda for a joint EPB/Council review of the ordinance. Council did, however, authorize <br />a transfer of $35,000.00 from the Landfill Tipping Fund to the General Fund for a wetlands <br />inventory and assessment. The funds would be utilized if Ramsey is not successful with the <br />MetroEnvironment Partnership grant request. <br />Recommendation: <br />NA <br />EPB Action <br />Based on discussion. <br />EPB: 08/01/05 <br />CASE # 2 <br />Buffer Monumentation Signs <br />By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator <br />Background: <br />Staff has received schematics for potential wetland buffer signs. Color choices include white, <br />black, green, yellow, and blue and the dimensions would be eight inches by eight inches (8" x 8") <br />The following items are included for your information: <br />a) Potential Wetland Buffer Signs (Exhibit 1) <br />Recommendation: <br />NA <br />
