Recommendation <br />NA <br />EPB Action <br />Based on discussion. <br />EPB: 11/7/05 <br />CASE # 4 <br />Review of Canopy Cover Formula <br />By: Chris Anderson, Zoning & Recycling Coordinator <br />Background: <br />Staff would like to look at the canopy cover formula and how that has translated into planting <br />requirements. Staff would like to take this opportunity to review the results of these requirements <br />and whether the numbers need to be adjusted somewhat. Staff would also like clarification as to <br />whether wetlands should be included in the pervious area calculation that is used to determine <br />required canopy cover square footage. This will also provide the new members of the EPB some <br />insight into these regulations. <br />Recommendation: <br />NA <br />EPB Action <br />Based on discussion <br />EPB: 11/7/05 <br />9.24 Tree Preservation <br />9.24.01 General Provisions <br />Subd. 1. Title. The short title of this Section shall be known as the Tree <br />Ordinance and will be hereinafter referred to as the "Tree Ordinance". <br />Subd. 2. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance to enhance the community <br />and its citizenry, and not to be punitive or to cause hardship to any individual, private or public <br />company. <br />Subd. 3. Intent.
