Councilmember Strommen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-10-351 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATRE, INC. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT JR'S OUTPOST IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Jr's <br />Outpost, 6141 Highway 10 NW Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb <br />Theatre, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Jr's Outpost, 6141 Highway 10 NW Ramsey <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
