Governance A Board of Directors313] will govern the Partners. An Executive Committee consisting of the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and one board member representing Anoka County will attend to urgent issues and preplan board meeting agendas. Organizational Structure The organization shall consist of an Executive Director, an Assistant Director, and a Communications Manager. The Executive Director shall report to the Board of Directors and be responsible for the daily operation of the Partners. Much of the Executive Director's time will be spent outside of the office coordinating and facilitating economic development activities. The Assistant Director will report to the Executive Director and will manage the daily operation, in the absence of the Executive Director. The Assistant Director will also be responsible for the financial records of the Partners and will be involved in various daily office functions. The Communications Manager will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible for marketing materials, training materials, newsletters and the website. Other clerical and support staff will be added to the organization as the workload requires and financial support allows. Employee compensation and benefits will be detailed in the individual employment contracts. Financial Plan 3pl Two board seats will represent Anoka County and will be appointed by the Anoka County Board of Commissioners. Three board members will represent cities and townships and be selected by Partner members of that group. Two board members will represent post secondary education. Two members will represent chambers of commerce. Two members will represent developer/realtor organizations. Three members will represent area banks. Two members will represent utilities. Three members will represent other businesses. One member will represent civic organizations. Rev. l/4/05 12
