CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James Norman <br />City Attomey William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Fire Chief/Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:04 p.m. and Fire <br />Chief/Director of Public Works Dean Kapler led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik advised of the receipt of a letter frorn Gary <br />Hanson, President of BakeStar Company, requesting their objection to the conditional use permit <br />issued to Ace Solid Waste for a transfer station, specifically the adopted findings of fact. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec noted four scouts from Troop 362 in Ramsey who are working on merit badges. <br /> <br />The following scouts introduced themselves: Ben Christenson, Jim Toey, Joe Anderson, and <br />Chris Astriker. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator James Norman stated the meeting would be adjourned to closed session to <br />discuss the condemnation proceedings. <br /> <br />City Council/May 9, 2000 <br />Page 2 of 15 <br /> <br /> <br />
