American Golf Corporation, dPo/a Links at Northfork <br />Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill Inc., d/b/a Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill <br /> <br />00-007 <br />00-008 <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson inquired if there has been any concerns or complaints with any <br />applicants that the Council should be aware of. <br /> <br />Police Chief Gustafson explained that each applicant is required to fill out an application and all <br />are required to reveal any refraction. In one instance there is one past infraction which was over <br />a year ago and the Council dealt with the matter and has been resolved. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to approve Off- <br />Sale Intoxicating and Non-Intoxicating Liquor License renewals for Judy's Discount 10 Liquor, <br />Rum River Wine & Spirits, and M & L County Liquors for the 2000 - 2001 license year. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, and <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to approve On- <br />Sale Intoxicating and Non-Intoxicating and Sunday Sales Liquor License renewals for Holm's <br />Super Bowl, McDuff's Eatery/Pub, JR's Saloon, Links at Northfork and Diamonds Sports Bar & <br />Grill for the 2000 - 2001 license year. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Connolly, and <br />Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Award Bid for 2000 Street Maintenance Program <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that on Tuesday, June 6, 2000, bids were opened for the 2000 <br />Street Maintenance Program. Bids were received from five contractors for providing 1 ½ inch <br />bituminous overlay on 9.32 miles of City streets. The bids were as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder <br />W.B. Miller, Inc. <br />Bauerly Companies <br />Midwest Asphalt <br />Hardrives, Inc. <br />North Valley, Inc. <br /> <br />Amount of Bid <br />$349,968.75 <br />$365,415.00 <br />$368,475.00 <br />$368,913.00 <br />$373,635.00 <br /> <br />Engineer's Estimate <br /> <br />$326,729.00 <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski noted that the low bid is $23,239, or 7.1% over the feasibility study <br />estimate, which was prepared in January of 2000. The effective unit price of bituminous is <br />$27.13 per ton compared with $24.60 in 1999.
