CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2000, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Kim Moore-Sykes <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Human Resources Manager Rhonda Heryla <br />City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:08 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Anderson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mike Cofield, 5080 Xkimo Court NW, Ramsey, inquired as to what he would need to do to get <br />speed limit signs installed on Xkimo Street. He explained that there are several people who drive <br />extremely fast down the street. He also questioned if it is necessary for another gas station to be <br />constructed on the corner of C.R. #5 and T.H. #47. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec replied that when a property is zoned a certain way it allows for certain businesses <br />to operate on that property. <br /> <br />Mr. Cofield stated that if a gas station is constructed at that intersection his entire property would <br />be lit up from the lights of the gas station. <br /> <br />City Council/September 13, 2000 <br /> Page 2 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
