CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 26, 2000, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councihnember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapter <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:05 p.m. and called <br />upon Councihnember Zimmerman to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION OF BADGE TO PAID ON-CALL <br />COMMEMORATING END OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br /> <br />FIRE FIGHTER, <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler introduced Fire Fighter Mike Shefveland, and explained that he excelled <br />through his training during his probationary period. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to remove Mike <br />Shefveland from his probationary period for the position of Paid-On-Call Fire Fighter. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, Anderson, <br />and Zimmennan. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented Mr. Shefveland with his badge and thanked the entire Fire Department <br />for their continued dedication to the City.
