PC CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER RESOLUTION APPOINTING <br />BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />By: Givonna Reed, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Currently, there are four vacancies to be filled on the Park and Recreation Commission, <br />the Economic Development Authority, and the Public Safety Board. These positions <br />were advertised and approximately 11 applicants were interviewed for the four vacant <br />seats. The interview panel consisted of the three members of the personnel committee, <br />and the chair and vice chair of the Park and Recreation Commission, the Economic <br />Development Authority, and the Public Safety Board. <br /> <br />The recommendations for appointment are as follows: <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission · I. Mr. Steven Hansen to a term expiring Dec. 31, 2008 <br /> · 2.
