Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING 2006 AFSCME LABOR AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and AFSCME have been negotiating the terms ora one <br />year labor agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and AFSCME have reached tentative agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, <br /> <br />Confn-ms the recommendation of the Pers6rmel Committee to do the following: <br />Authorize the following terms of a one year agreement between the City of Ramsey and <br />AFSCME: <br /> <br />· Wages: <br /> <br />2006-3% plus applicable step increases <br /> <br />· Insurance: <br /> <br />2006: Single: $426.50 Family: $665.00 <br /> <br />· Holidays: <br /> <br />Additional four hour floater <br /> <br />· Sick Leave/ 15 yrs 35% <br /> Severance <br /> <br />Calculating <br />OT/Sick/ <br />Vacation <br />Accruals <br /> <br />For purposes of calculating overtime, sick leave, and <br />Vacation leave, an employee using paid holidays, <br />vacation leave, or sick leave, is considered to be working. <br /> <br />Uniform <br />Allowance: <br /> <br />Public Works Maintenance Workers, Engineering <br />Technicians and Building Inspectors may submit an <br />original receipt to the EMPLOYER for a one time <br />reimbursement once every year for the purchase of work <br />boots for the cost of the boots for $100, whichever is less. <br /> <br />· Duration: <br /> <br />year <br /> <br />-305- <br /> <br /> <br />
