The consensus of the Council was to schedule a Town Center Task Force meeting for Wednesday, January 18th at 4:00 p.m. at City Hail. 2) Ramsey Foundation City Administrator Norman reviewed that during the City Council meeting of December 13, 2005 the Council considered a contribution to the City of Rarnsey Foundation. The Council discussed the desire for a mission statement that addressed public purposes as well as goals and an action statement. The item was referred to a work session for further discussion. Councilmember Strommen noted the document drafted by Intern Schmidt in relation to sister city relationships includes an example on pages 6 and 7 with an action statement and objectives that explain the .public purpose. Councilmember Olson suggested the Council draft a strategic plan with the representatives of Loudi when they arrive. This plan could incorporate the elements included in Intern Schmidt's document. Councilmember Strommen indicated the goals and objectives for the City of Ramsey should be determined prior to the arrival of the Loudi representatives. There could then be discussion with the Loudi representatives to determine where there is an overlap in the goals and objectives of the two cities.
