Mr. Holasek felt that this is unreasonable - the City cannot justify this on a residence - maybe it
can be justified for commercial.

Discussion ensued on the storm sewer design and the levy for the storm drainage for a few
property owners.

Ed Hamilton, 6615 Highway #10 NW, Ramsey, entered into the discussion on the storm
drainage and the design of the storm sewer and the area it was put in. He felt that the City will
force people with property to sell prematurely.

Dennis O'Keefe commented that there are many unhappy people in Ramsey because of the
increases.

Mayor Gamec explained that the City made some cuts, but we also felt it was time to do some
projects and hiring.

Stuart, 14830 Xkimo Street NW, Ramsey, stated that he moved to Ramsey three years ago. He
explained that he is 76 years old and lives on a fixed income. He commented on the price of
medications, etc., and how the taxes are going up. He wondered where the money is supposed to
come from to pay all of this. He added there is nothing in Ramsey for senior citizens.

Mayor Gamec informed him that Ramsey does have senior apartments and is looking at more.

Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Connolly to adjourn
the budget public hearing.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, and
Anderson. Voting No: None.
