Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION//03-09-262 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO <br />SCOTT AND CARRI EDGERTON, BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0650, AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO MAINTAIN TWO MAIN BUILDINGS AT 7031 <br />173R~) AVENUE N.W. FOR A TEMORARY PERIOD OF TIME. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Scott and Carri Edgerton have properly applied for an Interim Use Permit <br />to maintain a two dwellings, for an interim period of time, on the property generally known as <br />7031 173rd Avenue N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The south 330 feet of the east 660 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest <br /> Quarter of Section 03, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br /> ("Subject Property"). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on September 15, 2003, conducted the <br />public hearing and recommended City Council approval of the request; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code states that the recommendation of <br />the Planning Commission shall not be presented to the City Council sooner than 10 days after the <br />final action of the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is not be eligible to take action on the Applicants request <br />until October 14, 2003; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, weather conditions conducive to installation of footings and foundation for <br />the new dwelling are a concern at this time of year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is interested in advancing the construction of the new dwelling in <br />order that weather conditions to not place an extensive delay on the demolition and removal of <br />the existing homestead. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council hereby waives the 10 day waiting period between Planning Commission <br /> and City Council action on the Applicant's request for an Interim Use Permit ("Permit"). <br /> <br /> 2. Based on Findings of Fact #0650, a Permit to maintain two dwellings on the Subject <br /> Property is hereby granted to Scott and Carri Edgerton ("Permittees"). <br /> <br /> <br />
