ORDINANCE NO. 88- <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOI(A COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 110 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER <br />IS KNOWN AS THE "HEALTH SAFETY AND WELFARE CHAPTER." <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 110 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE BY THE <br />AMENDMENT OF SECTION 110.01 ENTITLED "SNOWMOBILES" BY THE <br />ADDITION OF THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. A/~ENDM~NT. <br /> <br />110.01 SNOWMOBILES AND ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES <br /> <br />110.011 Purpose: <br /> <br />The purpose of this section is to provide reasonable <br />regulations for the use of snowmobiles and all-terrain <br />vehicles on public and private property in the city of <br />Ramsey. This section is not intended to allow what the <br />Minnesota State Statutes expressly prohibit nor to <br />prohibit what the State Statutes allow. It is intended <br />to prevent a public nuisance. <br /> <br />110.012 Incorporation of State Statute: <br /> <br /> Any person operating a snowmobile or all-terrain <br /> vehicle within the city of Ramsey, unless provided <br /> otherwise herein, shall be subject to the provisions of <br /> Minnesota Statutes, Section 84.81 through 84.929, <br /> inclusive, as amended, and the regulations of the <br /> Commissioner of Natural Resources adopted pursuant <br /> thereto. <br /> <br />110.013 Definitions: <br /> <br />For the purposes of this section, the definitions <br />listed below shall be construed as follows: <br /> <br />Se <br /> <br />ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE or VEHICLE shall mean a motorized <br />flotation-tired vehicle of not less than three low <br />pressure tires, but not more than six tires, that is <br />limited in engine displacement of less than 800 cubic <br />centimeters and total dry weight less than 600 pounds. <br /> <br />CITY shall mean the city of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br /> <br />
