PROCEE?INGS OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, October 4, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Fmyor Gary Reimann Councilmember Steve DeLuca Counoilmember Dave Bawden Councilmember A1 Sorteberg Councilmember A1 Pearson Also Present: City Administrator Dave Hartley City Attorney Bill Goodrich Acting Zoning Administrator Merland Otto Thomas B. Williams, STERN Committee Marlys A. Williams, STERN Committee Michael E. McClurken, STERN Committee M. Jacqueline Eastwood, STERN Committee Liliana G. T. Heinen, STERN Committee George Kuprian, STERN Committee Terry Miller, Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. Don Otter, Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. CITIZEN~NPUT There was no citizen input. APPROVE ACENDA Motion by Councilmember DeLuoa and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to approve the agenda with the following additions: Case %3: Purchase of pick-up truck for the Fire Department. Case ~4: Adopt 1989 tax lex?. Motion carried. Voting yes: M~yor Reimann, Counoilmembers DeLuca, Bawden, Sorteherg, and Pearson. Voting no: None. ~OUNCIL BUSINESS Case ~1: Meet With STERN Co~{ttee: City Administrator Dave Hartley reviewed a report and recommendation to the STERN Committee and City Council regarding a proposed ordinance introduced by initiative; the STERN Committee is the circulating committee for said initiative.
