PROPOSED FINDINGS OF PACT <br />SIGNCRAFTERSs IRC./GROSSLEIN BEVERAGES <br /> <br />5. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />9. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />That Signcrafters, Inc./Grosslein Beverages, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", have properly applied for a Board of Adjustment Variance <br />from Section 170.05 of the Ramsey City Code in order to construct a <br />business identification sign in excess of 100 square feet. <br /> <br />That the Applicants appeared before the Ramsey Board of Adjustment for <br />a public hearing pursuant to Section 170.013G of the City Code on <br />0ctober 27, 1988 and that said public hearing was properly advertised <br />and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as <br />a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the subject property is generally known as 13554 Tungsten Street <br />N.W. and is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 26, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County <br />Minnesota, described as follows: Beginning at the southwest corner <br />of Lot 13 in said Auditor's Subdivision, then South 29 degrees 22 <br />minutes west on the westerly line of Lot 26 for a distance of 260 <br />feet; thence south 65 degrees 32 minutes east for a distance of 250 <br />feet, thence north 29 degrees 22 minutes east for a distance of 260 <br />feet, more or less, to the southeast corner of said Lot 13; thence <br />westerly along the southerly line of Lot 13, for a distance of 250 <br />feet to the place of beginning, all as shown by the files and records <br />of the Register of Deeds of Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />That the subject property is located in the B-I Business District and <br />and is approximately 2.5 acres in size. <br /> <br />That Section 170.05 of the Kamsey City Code limits the size of business <br />identification signs to 100 square feet. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is requesting a variance to construct a 160 square <br />foot business identification sign. <br /> <br />That if granted, the variance will not grant the applicant any special <br />privilege that is denied by the Zoning Chapter to other owners of land <br />in the the B-1 Business District. <br /> <br />That if granted, the variance will not be materially detrimental to the <br />purposes of the Zoning Chapter. <br /> <br />That if granted, the variance will not increase congestion of public <br />streets or endanger the public safety within the area. <br /> <br /> <br />
