Gary Ostrum stated that UPA has found that nice development occurs near <br />substations; the things associated with the substation are not as negative <br />as those associated with the types of bussinesses that would be permitted <br />to develop on the subject property. <br /> <br />Shelley Then - Stated that people living next to the substation on County <br />Road ~5 have reception problems. <br /> <br />Pat Cairns stated that UPA has received no complaints ab out the substation <br />on Cry. Rd. ~5 but it will be checked out. There is no reason why a <br />substa ion should cause t.v. interference if the equipment is properly <br />maintained or not damaged; UPA has the tools to find substation <br />malfunctions that are causing problems.
