population projection for Ramaey will have been exceeded. <br />Paul Daltzersen noted that there is currently a development boom that will <br />most likely taper off. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris noted that Ramsey's development has steadily increased, even in <br />down years. <br /> <br />Josephine Nunn stated that although there is room for adjustment, she <br />doubts Metro Council will approve of Ramsey designating its ultimate urbsn <br />area as the 2000 year boundary. <br /> <br />Paul Baltzersen stated that Metro Council'would have a problem with Ramsey <br />labelling it's ultimate urban area as the 2000 year urban service area; <br />Metro Council would be more receptive if it were more appropriately <br />labelled ultimate urban service area. <br /> <br />Carl Schenk urged Ramsey to amend it's Critical River regulations with <br />respect to rural density so it is consistent with Metro Council regulations <br />and can then administer it's own standards rather than going through the <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The workshop meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />Sylvia Frolik <br />Secretary <br /> <br />David Rat tley <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />City Council-Planning & Zoning/August 16, 1988 <br /> <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
