PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF R~EY <br /> ANO£A COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on <br />Thursday, August 18, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Hamsey, Minnesota regarding Mr. Gerald Bauer's request for <br />preliminary plat approval of Green Valley Estates 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />Also Present: Community Development Direct or Anne Norris <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Roy Shumway <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:39 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Cindy Rychner - 6200 177th Lane - Concerned that the added density with <br />this development will create a need for municipal sewer and water. <br /> <br />Chairman Zi=merman replied that it will be many years before sewer and <br />water are *xtended to this area; the city is only allowed a certain amount <br />of sewer capacity to serve a particular area; Green Valley Estates is a <br />considerable distance from Ramsey's urban area. <br /> <br />4DJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to adjourn <br />the public bearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Terry, <br />Holm, Hendriksen, LaDue and Howell. Voting No: None.
