The County has reviewed the site plan and suggested that Mr. Rurd <br />provide an additional 27 feet of right-of-way along Ramsey Blvd. for future <br />upgrading. Planning and Zoning has recommended denial of the request based <br />on traffic hazards in the area and ultimate plans for that area based on <br />the Hwy. ~10 Study. <br /> <br />Motion by Couneilmember Pearson and seconded by Couneilmember DeLuea to <br />approve Mr. Roger Hurd's request for a conditional use permit contingent <br />upon providing the additional 27 feet of right-of-way along Ramsey Blvd. <br /> <br />Motion carried. To B-1 Business: Case Of Mr. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Holmquist is requesting subdivision of a <br />property at 6326 Hwy. ~10 and rezoning of tke then northern parcel from <br />Residential to B-1 Business. Planning and Zoning recommended denial of the <br />request for a subdivision as it would oreate two substandards lots and <br />denial of the request for rezoning because the City would not have adequate <br />control over property use. <br /> <br />Jim Noran - Attorney for Dennis Holmquist - Stated that there was a taking <br />of the northerly 50 feet of Mr. Holmquist's property for utility and street <br />improvements and in those negotiations, Mr. Holmquist was led to believe <br />that he would release the 50 feet for $3800 and consideration of rezoning <br />for small business purposes.
