PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Monday, August 15, <br />1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Direct or Anne Norris <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. <br />and Denise and Drew Hartley led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />John Alcox - Junior Careers - Inquired as to why his application for a <br />Peddler's License was denied. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that City Staff will prepare a written response for Mr. <br />Alcox. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the agenda with the following additions: <br /> <br /> Case #12: City of Ramsey computer needs. <br /> <br /> Case ~13: Request for renewal of charitable gambling license; case of <br /> Ramsey Lions Club. <br /> <br /> Case #14: Appointment to Regional Landfill Board. <br /> <br /> Case #15: Discussion of establishment of Economic Development <br /> Authority. <br /> <br /> Case #5.At Central Park buildings. <br /> <br /> ~yor & Council Input: a) Discussion regarding parking concession at <br /> Game Fair. <br /> <br /> City Council/August 15, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
