PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />PUBLIC NEARING <br /> CITY OF RAM~EY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted an assessment hearing on Tuesday, August <br />23, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota for Improvement Project ~87-20, 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />}~yor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney Bill Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />~yor Reimann called the public hearing to order at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the total project cost is $70,932.83; it is an MSA <br />project and the 4 units in the area would be assessed 1/2 of a residen:ial <br />unit or $1,252 each; the project will be amortized over a 10 year period at <br />8.56% interest. Following the public hearing, Council can adopt the <br />assessment roles; those proposed to be assessed have 30 days from the date <br />the assessment roles were adopted to pay the assessment with no interest. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the assessment hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
