NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Ramsey will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 8, 1988, at 7:30 p.m. at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request by Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. for a conditional use permit to: 1) use land currently zoned I-1 Industrial for the vertical expansion of the existing landfill; 2) construct and operate a ski hill and sledding recreational area on property currently zoned I-1 Industrial and R-iR Residential; 3) rough grade a roadway through a DNR-designated wetland; and 4) excavate, grade and transport soil materials for landfill cover material. These activities are proposed for the property legally described as follows: The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, subject to easement to RCPA dated December 1, 1967. -and- The Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, subject to easement to RCPA dated December 1, 1967. -and- The Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. -and- That parcel identified by PIN: 27-32-25-11-0003, Anoka County, Minnesota. Ail interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and comment on the conditional use permit request. Written comments are welcome and shall be addressed to the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303.
