PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAM~EY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a special meeting on <br />Wednesday, September 14, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Jim Holm <br />Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />Mr. Merland Otto <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Jim Howell <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the special Planning and Zoning Commission <br />meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Art Raudio - Stated that he would like to reopen a discussion he had <br />with the Commission at their August 2nd meeting. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />approve the agenda as submitted with the following addition: <br /> <br />Case #15: Discussion regarding HY-iO 4th Addition; case of Mr. Art <br /> Raudio. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Holm and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Howell <br />and Shumway. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman adjourned the special meeting at 7:36 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hea¥ings: <br /> <br />1) Request for conditional use permit to locate an electrical substation <br /> in the B-1 Business District; case of United Power Association. <br /> <br />Request for conditional use permit to: 1) use land currently zoned <br /> Planning & Zoning Commission/September 14, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 7 <br /> <br /> <br />
