Case #4 Review sketch Dian Oak Run Addition. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Rustad to accept 10% of the fair <br />market value as park dedication. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Lichter, Commissioner Prall, Rustad, Hetland, Johnson <br />and Lokker. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Case #5 Review Park conceol plans for North Fork Addition. <br /> <br />Dennis Peck told the Commission that he was the director for North Fork. He told the <br />Commission that North Fork agreed to supply 30 acres for park dedication with access to a trail <br />corridor. He also told the Commission that he would be coming in January with that <br />preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Terry Hendricksen told the Commission that he feels it would convey a poor message for North <br />Fork to have a private trail going through it. <br /> <br />Dennis Peck told Mr. Hendricksen and the Commission that the people North Fork are attracting <br />are more interested in the golf course rather than the trail system. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hetland asked Mr, Peck if the golf course was going to be privately owned. <br /> <br />Dennis Peck told the Commission yes it was going to be privately owned but it will be open to the <br />public. <br /> <br />Cese #6 Review combined Cedar Hill Addition/Windemere Woods <br /> Additign/Chestnut Hills Addition parks concept Dian. <br /> <br />Greg Frank of M.F.R.A. told the Commission that he talked to the three developers and that they <br />know the City wants a minimum of 8 acres of dry land for park dedication. He told the <br />Commission that they have come up with an area that has 13.5 acres with the minimum 8 acres <br />of dry land. <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that this is the first time he has heard of this concept and that <br />he would like to know if the developers want credit for park dedication on the full 13.5 acres of <br />land. <br /> <br />John Peterson of Good Value Homes told the Commission that he does not think they expect credit <br />for the 5 acres of wet land. <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that this overall concept fits the needs of the City better than <br />the first one. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to accept the overall concept along with a trail to the north <br />but not to make a motion for acceptance until the Commission receives a revised plat showing <br />the entire area of the 3 developments, all the trail alignments and public use areas. <br /> PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION/DECEMBER 8, 1988 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
