Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Strommen, Jeffrey, Cook, Elvig, <br /> Olson, and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br /> Case #11: Report from Personnel Committee <br /> <br /> 1) Request Authorization to Submit Pay Equity Report to the Department of <br /> Employee Relations <br /> <br /> Human Resources Manager Reed explained the Local Government Pay Equity Act requires the <br /> City of Ramsey to complete a Pay Equity Implementation Report reflecting salary and benefit <br /> information as of December 31, 2005. Staff forwarded the necessary information to a consultant <br /> who used the Department of Employee Relations' (DOER) software to determine compliance. It <br /> appears that the City is in compliance; however, official notification will come fi.om DOER at a <br /> later date. The Personnel Committee and staff recommend that the City Council accept the <br /> results of the attached pay equity report and authorize staff to submit the report to DOER for <br /> evaluation. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to ratify the <br /> recommendation of the Personnel Committee in Case No. 1 and to accept the results of the <br /> attached pay equity report and authorize staffto submit the report to DOER for evaluation. <br /> <br />City Council / January 10, 2006 <br />Page 14 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
