The primary garage shall be at least 400 square feet in size. <br />~ If the accessory building is closer to the front property line than the principal building, then the <br />construction must have the same general design and materials as the home. <br />~ If the accessory building is closer to the front property line than the principal building, then a design with <br />soffit, fascia and eave overhang will be required. <br />4 If the accessory building is closer to the front property Iine than the principal building, then the height of <br /> <br />the accessory building cannot exceed the height of the principal building or twenty-two (22) feet, <br />whichever is more restrictive. <br /> <br />SECTION 4 SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #06-__ has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of <br />the Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance #06-__ to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 <br />(Zoning and Subdivision of Land) Section 9.11.02 (Accessory Structures) to: <br /> <br />· Adjust the square footage maximums for accessory space on some of the <br /> small sizes properties to reduce the number of conditional use permits that are <br /> sought by residents. <br />· Adjust the size categories on the small sized properties to reflect a fairer <br /> system for determining maximum allowable accessory structure space. <br />· Toughen the criteria for granting a conditional use permit <br /> <br />85 <br /> <br /> <br />
