CASE # <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> REQUEST FOR VACATION OF EASEMENT <br /> IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF MEADOW; <br /> CASE OF GM LAND COMPANY <br />By: Sylvia Frolik, Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As part of tonight's agenda, the City Council is reviewing the proposed final plat of Meadow. <br />There are underlying drainage and utility easements on the property that will need to be vacated. <br />The following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />Proposed Ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />In accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />of the subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The plats of Ramsey Dental Clinic Addition and Holaseks Addition are part of the Meadow plat. <br />These previous plats contained standard drainage and utility easements that will no longer be <br />necessary as new easements will be dedicated in conjunction with the platting of Meadow. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the ordinance to vacate the drainage and utility easement <br />in Ramsey Dental Clinic Addition and Holaseks Additon. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #06-02- to vacate the drainage and utility easements <br />contained on Ramsey Dental Clinic Addition and Holaseks Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Civil Engineer II <br /> <br />CC: 02/28/06 <br /> <br />-115- <br /> <br /> <br />
