CASE <br /> <br />CONSIDER RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPRAISAL OF DAMAGES FOR THE <br />ACQUISTION OF PERMANENT EASEMENTS FOR STREET, DRAINAGE AND <br />UTILITY PURPOSES FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF POSTASSIUM STREET NW <br /> <br />By: William K. Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: By its Resolution in June, 2005, the City Council authorized the commencement of <br />an eminent domain action for the purpose of acquiring right of way for the improvement of <br />Potassium Street NW. As a part of that action, an appraisal of the damages each of the affected <br />parcels will suffer as a result of the taking has been completed. The statutory process requires that <br />the Council approve the appraisal.
