D <br /> <br />Council closed the public hearing at 8~'5~ and reconvened the regular <br />Council meeting to take action on thii project. <br /> <br />CASE #7: RHINESTONE, 153RD LANE N.W., 154TH LANE N.W. PROPOSED STREET <br /> <br />PROJECT #81-20: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec took a poll of the Councilmembers to see if they were in favor <br />of eliminating 153rd Lane N.W. from Project #81-20. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann stated it should be ~11 or nothing <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg stated he is not in favor of forcing <br />but we would only be leaving off about 1,O00 feet. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated not force the improvement, how- <br />ever in favor of partial <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated to cut it off at the corner at 153rd <br />Lane and Rhinestone <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #81-91 Ordering the Improvement and Preparation of Plans <br />and Specifications for the above street surfacing project #81-20. However <br />there is to be excluded from this project 153rd Lane N.W. commencing at <br />Ramsey Blvd. and running west to the corner of 153rd Lane and Rhinestone. <br />(Please refer to resolution file for this resolution.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Camec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />and Cox. Voting no Councilmember Reimann. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Hughes - Regarding Driscoll, Baugh decision Nobody on Baugh <br />wants the paving. No one from Baugh understood that there was going to <br />be a vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Parfetto - I only know of two people on Baugh Street in favor of <br />the blacktop as the people from Baugh~ 169th and 173rd did not realize <br />there would be a vote and a decision made right now. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox'stated a straw vote is only to get a feeling of What <br />the public wants. The Council still makes the final decision. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmembe~ Reimann to re- <br />scind his resolution #81-89 Ordering the Improvement and Preparation of <br />Plans and Specifications for Street Improvement Project #81-19 (Driscoll <br />and Baugh Street, 173rd Lane N.W. and 169th Avenue N.W,) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Camec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Cox.
