ORDINANCE NO. 80 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />CHAPTER 170.07 OF CITY CODE OF <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA <br />SCENIC RIVERS ORDINANCE <br /> I(i <br />( --.1 <br /> Ico <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BLUFFLAND AND RIVERLAND DEVELOPMENT OF THE <br />RUM RIVER <br />The City Council of Ramsey, Minnesota ordains: <br />170.07 SCENIC RIVERS ORDINANCE <br />170.071 PO LICY AND AUTHORIZATION <br />An ordinance for the controlling of bluffland and riverland <br />development in order to protect and preserve the outstanding <br />scenic, recreational, natural, historical, and scenic values <br />of the Rum River in Ramsey, Minnesota, in a manner consistent <br />with Minnesota Statutes, Section 104.3 - 104.40, Minnesota <br />Regulations NR78 -81, and the Management Plan for the Rum River <br />(6 MCAR H 1.2700 - 1.2720). <br />170.072 TITLE <br />This ordinance shall be known, cited, and referred to as the <br />Scenic River Ordinance; except as referred to herein, and <br />where it shall be known as, "This Ordinance ". A <br />170.073 SCOPE AND INTERPRETATION <br />170.073.1 The provisions of this ordinan ce shall apply within the desi- <br />gnated Scenic River Land Use District of the Rum River, in <br />accordance with the property descriptions contained in <br />6 MCAR $g 1.2700 - 1.2720. <br />170.073. In their interpretation and application, the provisions of <br />this ordinance shall be held to be minimum requirements, and <br />shall not be deemed a limitation or repeal of any powers or <br />rights granted by Minnesota Statutes. <br />
