• <br />• <br />170.077.2 No person, firm, or corporation shall install, alter, re- <br />pair, or extend ary i sewer disposal system or pri- <br />vate well without first obtaining a permit for such action <br />from the Zoning Authority for the specific installation, <br />teration, repair or extension. Prior to issuance of any such <br />permit, the Zoning Authority may require that soil boring <br />tests be done on the proposed site to determine whether or <br />not the site is capable of supporting a conforming sewage <br />treatment system. <br />170.077.3 Any Public or private supply of water for domestic purposes <br />must conform to Minnesota Department of Health Standards for <br />water quality and the administrative procedures of other appli- <br />cable local ordinances. <br />170.078 PLACEMENT OF STRUCTURES <br />170.078.1 Structures proposed within a flood plain area shall be con- <br />sistent with all flood plain management regulations of Ramsey. <br />170.078.2 No structure shall be placed on any slope greater than 12% <br />(12 feet vertical rise in 100 feet horizontal distance) un- <br />less such structures can be screened, sewage disposal facili- <br />ties can be installed so as to comply with the sanitary pro - <br />visions of Section 170.077 of this ordinance, and the permit <br />applicant can prove to the zoning authority that any potential <br />erosion or sedimentation problems related to locating such a <br />structure either do not exist, or that adequate measures will <br />be taken to prevent such problems through special construction <br />methods. <br />170.079 SUBDIVISION OF LAND <br />170.079.1 No land shall be subdivided which is determined by the City <br />of Ramsey, or the Commissioner of Natural Resources, to be <br />unsuitable by reason of flooding, inadequate drainage, soil <br />and rock formations with severe limitations for development, , <br />severe erosion potential, unfavorable topography, <br />water supply or sewage treatment capabilities or any other <br />feature likely to be harmful to the health, safety, or wel- <br />fare of the future residents of the proposed subdivision or <br />f <br />the community.
