Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #81- 63 RESOLUTION REGARDING CITY POLICY ON MOVING BUILDINGS OF LESS THAN 580 SQUARE FEET WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's policy has.been that a $100 fee would be charged on any building that is moved into the City. In addition, they would be charged for a building permit; and • • WHEREAS, the Ramsey Building official submitted a Memo dated June 2, 1981 at the Council's req uest, the $100 fee be waived for accessory the a pp�icant l providing 5a0 square feet in size, contingent up d s t ructure t o clear photograph of all foe itand Councilapprovalbe required. Further, that a building p NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA as follows: The following City policy is hereby established on the request to move in to the City of Ramsey accessory buildings of less than 580 square feet: a) The individual will be required to provide the City Building Official a clear photograph of all four (4) sides of the accessory building. 1) b) The Building Official will then request Council approval on the moving in of an accessory building of less than 580 square feet. The Building Official will prepare a report for Council review in making this decision. individual w ill C) The l be charged a building permit fee. The moving inspection fee of $100 is omitted for any structure of less than 580 square feet. d) All other types of structures would still have to be inspected prior to being moved in at a fee of $100. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Van Wagner, and Cox
